HOSA holds exciting events that we compete in. We also hold local events to raise awareness and money for our competition and travel.

Dunwoody HOSA can compete each year in Georgia HOSA’s Competitive Events Program.

• Health Science Events, like Medical Terminology, Medical Math, Nutrition, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology

• Health Professions Events, like Clinical Nursing, Dental Science, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Science, Sports Medicine, Veterinary Science

• Emergency Preparedness Events, like CPR/First Aid, EMT, Epidemiology, Public Health

• Leadership Events, like Prepared Speaking, Health Career Photography, Job Seeking Skills, Research Poster

• Teamwork Events, like HOSA Bowl, Forensic Science, Biomedical Debate, Health Education, Medical Innovation

• Recognition Events, like HOSA Service Project, HOSA History Exam, Barbara James Service Award

Fundraisers

People can sponsor your HOSA activities by giving you the dollar amount. You can ask friends, family, local business owners, etc. As an example, you can do bake sales, and other activities.

They can pay you any way that works best for you (venmo, cash, etc.) bring money to Ms. Keiser so she can add it to an individual sheet.The money you raise goes towards YOUR personal HOSA activities! Ex: State competition
